Organizational Development

The primary goal of the Organizational Development Program is to establish a stout and efficient structure for Jose Memorial Hemophilia Society-Kenya, ensuring effective membership management, strategic planning, inclusive governance, and the seamless operation of the society’s key components, including the Medical Advisory Board, Board of Directors, and the organizational office.

The program aims to create a resilient and inclusive organizational structure. This foundation will enable the society to navigate challenges, adapt to evolving needs, and effectively carry out its mission to support individuals and families affected by hemophilia in Kenya.

Registration of Members to the Society

A key aspect of organizational growth involves actively promoting and facilitating the registration of new members to the society. The goal is to expand the membership base, allowing for a more diverse representation of individuals affected by hemophilia. This increased inclusivity fosters a sense of community and broadens the society’s reach.

Inclusion of the Medical Board

The active involvement of the Medical Advisory Board (MAB) is integral to the society’s success. The program emphasizes close collaboration with the MAB in decision-making processes, program development, and ensuring that medical expertise guides the society’s initiatives. This collaboration aims to foster a synergy between medical professionals and the society’s leadership, ultimately benefiting individuals with hemophilia.

Office Operations

Efficient organizational operations are vital for the successful implementation of programs and initiatives. This aspect of the program involves establishing and maintaining a functional office that supports day-to-day activities, facilitates communication, and ensures coordination among various stakeholders within the society.

Membership Strategy

Developing a comprehensive membership strategy involves outlining the benefits, responsibilities, and engagement opportunities for society members. The strategy aims to enhance member satisfaction, encourage active participation in society initiatives, and promote a sense of belonging among individuals and families affected by hemophilia.

Board of Directors

The program focuses on the development and optimization of the Board of Directors, the governing body responsible for steering the society’s overall direction. This includes strategic planning, resource allocation, and decision-making to ensure that the society’s mission and goals align with the evolving needs of the hemophilia community.
